MicroClean
Technology

Measurable disinfection, without chemicals

The technology uses wet heat delivered by microwaves. It is patented and retrofits onto lines already in production.

Inside the disinfection chamber, seen from the opening

Four steps

01

Wetting

The plastic production aid is applied with water before treatment.

02

Microwave treatment

The microwaves pass through the plastic and heat all moisture — surface and material alike.

03

Elimination

Bacteria are killed at above 99.99 %, including clusters inside biofilm.

04

Measurement

The effect is measurable — the first method in the world that is both effective and documentable.

What can be treated

Plastic containers up to 1,400 LSeparate chamber
Plastic trays and cratesIn line
Cutting boards and plastic palletsIn line
Machine parts, ladles and shovels in plasticIn line

Retrofitting

The technology mounts onto existing production lines and makes the process more time-efficient, more environmentally sound and safer for the food we eat.

Large plastic containers are the exception: they are treated in a dedicated disinfection chamber.
